Born in Manila, Philippines, and raised in Greenwich, Connecticut from the age of six, Van Jayson Pelayo is a graphic designer turned animator whose path has been guided by curiosity and a love for visual storytelling.

He began his career at a local print shop, where he built a strong foundation in design and typography. After moving to New York City, Jayson expanded his creative work into animation—starting with 2D and eventually exploring 3D design and motion. His experience across film, marketing, and sports has shaped his ability to communicate ideas through clarity, movement, and thoughtful design.

Jayson’s open-minded approach allows him to blend timeless design principles with modern aesthetics, creating visuals that feel both purposeful and refined. Outside of work, he draws inspiration from sports, culture, food, and nature photography.
